And, it's about the outrageously shameful, oh-so-perfectly-petaled flowers. American demand for these flowers means that we export cancers, diseases, and deformaties. That is, (mostly)women in Central America and Africa, whose greenhouse jobs ensure the delivery of the perfect petal, have to use pesticides and chemicals so toxic they were made illegal long ago in our country, and they and their babies suffer the health consequences.... all for a few dollars to feed their families.
